To all our customers, we want to thank you for all your enquiries. Due to Covid 19, we had to temporarily lay off all our staff and therefore it is not currently possible to respond to everybody individually. However please be assured that the Management Team and many of our fantastic Team are working tirelessly behind the scenes on the implications of Covid 19 for our business. The guidelines for reopening were just launched by Failte Ireland and we are currently processing 5 documents relating to our business. We are also navigating finance, staffing and safety plans for reopening.
The level of enquiries has been heartening for us but we are asking for your patience now. As of yet we do not have a date for reopening as there is a huge amount of work to do to reconfigure our business to ensure the safety of our staff and you our customers which is of paramount importance to us. Please be reassured that once a date is decided it will be published and that all Facebook messages, emails, phone messages and campsite booking enquiries will be responded to individually.
Thank you all and we look forward to welcoming you back to Lough Key in the near future.

The list of finalists has been compiled after hundreds of nominations received over the past few months for the Irish Hospitality Awards 2019.
The Irish Hospitality Awards are back for the third year to celebrate those who provide residents and visitors with great experience and enhance the hospitality industry in Ireland.
The glamorous ceremony will be held at The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport, on Monday, March 25, where top contenders will gather together to find out the lucky winners.
The third Irish Hospitality Awards aim to acknowledge those who make a real difference in this sector as well as the efforts that the professionals put to ensure their customers always receive services that are second to no-one.
The awards will also provide a platform to thank everyone who is committed to make the country a friendly place to visit, from restaurants that serve delicious dishes to bars and clubs that keep Ireland alive at nights, museums, shopping centres, as well as festivals that promote different cultures.
Lough Key Forest & Activity Park is one of the finalists in the category of ‘Tourist Attraction of the Year’. They will find out if they will be crowned winner and will take the trophy home at the elegant ceremony taking place in March.
Louise Fitzpatrick, General Manager says the company are honoured and delighted to be nominated for the awards. These awards are really special as the nominations come from the public themselves. So, a huge thank you to all our loyal customers who have voted for us. This has come as such a lovely surprise after our recent success in the ‘Irish Tourism Industry Awards’
A Spokesperson for the Irish Hospitality Awards 2019 said: “Working in the hospitality industry can be challenging at times and these awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector, despite the difficulties.
The finalists are people who have dedicated their whole career in making the country a great place for its lively atmosphere. It is time to recognise those professionals, whose work often remains over-shadowed.
We would like to congratulate all the finalists for their nomination and wish them the best of luck.”
