Visited Lough Key Forest Park on our holidays in July whilst on a Shannon cruiser and we had a wonderful time. There is so much to do at Lough Key. We did a tree top walk taking in the tunnels around Rockingham House. Such a interesting history lesson. We rented bikes and took a cycle around the forest and woodland near the lake - the kids loved exploring. Most of all we were super impressed by all the staff we met at the various kiosks at the park. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. The lunches at the food truck were delicious and we were totally able to relax in the vast outdoor space - especially since we had really great weather also. Would really recommend Lough Key and nearby Boyle where we did some paddle boarding. Amazing place - in the heart of Ireland.

Beautiful park , very well maintained . Excellent walks and beautiful views along the walks. Kids really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back to camp during the summer months . The restaurant was really nice , very tasty food and can I mention the staff that attended to us were so friendly and helpful to my family. I can honestly say it is one of the cleanest and nicest parks we have been to so we look forward to coming back. 10/10

We visited Lough Key Forest Park with absolutely no expectations and had an absolutely great time. We thoroughly enjoyed walking in the forest and soaking in the spectacular array of trees and greenery. We also did the Canopy Walk which includes a very interesting history of the old estate house, Rockingham House, with it's tunnels and the three story tower which was built to give a panoramic view of the estate and countryside. The cafe/restaurant serves really good food and the staff on reception, especially Jeannie are so helpful and friendly. We would most definitely recommend a visit here and it seems to be a great place for a family holiday.
