MUGA

MUGA stands for Multi Use Games Area. They’re made from artificial grass surfacing and incorporate the different turf types and pitch markings needed to accommodate a number of sports, right there in one place. Lough Key’s MUGA can accommodate football and Basketball.

It is FREE to use and all we ask is that it is treated with respect and all users are generous with each other.

Outdoor Gym Equipment

Just like at a normal gym there is a real range of equipment that can be used, to include some weight machines, bars to hang from, specially adapted step-master type equipment and a variety of lower limb exercisers.

It is located on a short loop near the visitor centre.
